The Real Estate Retention Agreement is a retention mechanism option to be used on for-sale homeownership voluntary housing grant initiative projects only. If this document is executed and recorded on a for-sale homeownership project, no additional retention mechanism would be required.
Form to be completed when a homeowner is refinancing or selling their home prior to the five-year retention period. Applicable to Affordable Housing Program, First Front Door Program and voluntary housing grant initiative.
Complete for rental projects receiving Sustained Affordability points as outlined in the Implementation Plan.
